New Wave Enviro Is Now 100% Employee Owned

On January 1st, 2023, the shareholders of New Wave Enviro Products Inc (Greenwood Village, CO) announced the sale of 100 percent of their stock to a newly formed Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).  The company’s shareholders and board of directors approved the transaction with the intent of further strengthening its commitment to its employees, customers, consumers and communities.

“Employees at New Wave Enviro have always taken pride in making an impact on the environment and our success is attributed to the passion they bring each day,” said New Wave Co-founder and Chairman Lee Archer. “The ESOP demonstrates our commitment to them, further allowing them to take part in New Waves future success.”

The shift to employee ownership will help preserve New Wave Enviro’s employee-centric culture and retain its flexibility and sustainability as an independent company. There are no planned changes to New Waves management structure or day-to-day operations.  The conversion to an ESOP will only strengthen New Wave Enviro’s commitment to its consumers, retail partners and the environment.

“This is an extraordinarily important moment in New Wave Enviro’s history. We have many employees, now owners, that have helped the company grow for 20 plus years. We’ve always placed the highest value on the contributions of our employees,” stated President Sheri Archer. “This transition feels like a natural progression for us as it reinforces New Wave’s culture, and ensures we continue to serve our customers in the best way possible, while supporting the sustainability of our company.”

Founded in 1993 New Wave is the leading manufacturer and distributor of water filtration, reusable bottles, and litter-free lunch products in the natural foods industry. New Wave Enviro’s mission has always been, and will always be, to design and manufacture innovative, daily-use products that have a positive impact on the environment, the company stated.
