Natural Grocers Celebrates Organic Month, Invites Customers to Celebrate

Specialty retailer Natural Grocers (Lakewood, CO) is raising awareness toward Organic Month with discounts on organic products, community education on the organic movement and fundraising efforts. The promotion will run all throughout September.

For three days from September 14-16, Natural Grocers offers additional in-store shopping incentives and promotions including savings of up to 46 percentage off, free merchandise and membership discounts.

Throughout the month of September customers can enjoy special savings on various products reflective of Natural Grocers’ commitment to organic practices.

These products include all nine varieties of Natural Grocers brand organic coffee, Natural Grocers brand organic free-range eggs, pasture-raised eggs from regenerative farms, selected organic frozen fruits from Cascadian Farm and selected organic shampoo and conditioner from Avalon Natural Products.

Natural Grocers is also raising money for Beyond Pesticides, a nonprofit advocacy organization that aims to protect public health and the environment by transitioning away from toxic pesticides. Certain products will contribute toward the total.

Natural Grocers is also offering education on organic products. According to the company, the two most common questions they get are “What is organic?” and Why choose organic?” The main message of Organic Month is to understand that “buying and eating organic food can be affordable.”

“We only carry 100 percent USDA Certified Organic produce and every product that is on our shelves must go through a rigorous screening and approval process to make certain it adheres to our standards,” Natural Grocers Vice President of Marketing Raquel Isly said. “We also work hard to secure the best possible pricing as it’s important to us that everyone has access to quality organic and natural products.”
