GOED Gears Up for Global Omega-3 Day

Omega-3s

This March 3, the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED, Salt Lake City, UT) plans to celebrate this year’s Global Omega-3 Day.

GOED represents the global omega-3 industry with a mission to increase consumption of EPA and DHA around the world.

“As approximately 80 percent of individuals globally fall short of the recommended EPA and DHA omega-3 intake, GOED is dedicated to improving this statistic by rallying its members, communications partners and the public to shine a spotlight on these important nutrients,” GOED said.

GOED encourages numerous ways to take part in the celebration, including sharing information about EPA and DHA on social media, hosting events or webinars, pitching to local media to promote the importance of EPA and DHA, offering limited-time deals or discounts on products and hosting a contest or giveaway to encourage participants to share their plans for increasing omega-3 intake.
