CPG Radar, a new AI model trained on one of the largest proprietary datasets of nutrition products and clinical science, officially launched last week after being in stealth mode for over seven months. Ghannoum, the creator, explained that he noticed a lack of data-driven decision-making in the dietary supplements industry, leading him to develop CPG Radar.
The platform combines a comprehensive data set of product and ingredient companies with information on clinical trials published on databases like PubMed. This allows users to access actionable insights based on scientific evidence.
Ghannoum emphasized that CPG Radar aims to augment the bandwidth of companies in the supplements space by providing client intelligence briefs that offer specific recommendations for product optimization and innovation. This is particularly valuable for business development teams with limited resources.
Sports & Active Nutrition Summit
Ghannoum will be presenting CPG Radar at NutraIngredients-USA’s Sports & Active Nutrition Summit in February in San Diego. He highlighted the importance of innovation and differentiation in the sports nutrition industry, noting the rapid pace of change and the need for companies to stand out amidst a crowded market.
