Industry professionals from various sectors of the nutraceutical industry are getting ready to attend Vitafoods Europe from May 14th to 16th. A number of exhibitors will be showcasing their latest innovations in microbiome modulation.
Women’s health and sports nutrition
AB-Biotics, a Kaneka company, will be emphasizing their Gyntima Menopause solution that helps manage symptoms of menopause in women. This solution contains a blend of probiotic strains specifically designed to modulate estrogen levels in the gut to provide a safe and effective solution for women in various stages of menopause.
In addition to Gyntima Menopause, AB-Biotics will also be showcasing other products in their Gyntima women’s health portfolio, including Gyntima Cyscare for urinary tract protection, Gyntima Balance for vaginal microbiota restoration, and Gyntima Re-Balance for targeting vaginal infections.

They will also showcase Biotis Fermentis, a unique solution targeting the gut-muscle axis utilizing protein, prebiotics, and probiotic cultures through fermentation.
Glycemia modulation
Nexira will be focusing on metabolic health with the launch of a new product for glycemia modulation supported by new research. They will introduce inavea, an organic and carbon-neutral prebiotic product that modulates the gut microbiome to increase SCFA production and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria for metabolic health.
Biotic vitamins
dsm-firmenich will showcase Humiome B2, a breakthrough product for gut health that delivers vitamin B2 in the colon to nourish a healthy gut environment. They will also present their Humiome Pro- and Postbiotics solutions and sustainable ingredients portfolio featuring ampli-D and life’s OMEGA.
Precision prebiotics
NutriLeads BV will introduce new product formats for their precision prebiotic fiber Benicaros, highlighting its immune and gut health benefits. They offer different concentrations of the active ingredient in liquid and powder forms to suit various application needs and will be discussing research showing the positive effects of Benicaros on beneficial gut bacteria and short-chain fatty acid production.
